All About Me!

My name is Robin….

I’m a Type 1 diabetic, a kidney transplant recipient, and an amputee.

I’m a sister, aunt, daughter, friend and most importantly, a believer.
I was born and raised in church, but I recognize I live in a very real world.
The past few years have been the hardest I never could’ve imagined, but they taught me a lot.

My experiences have taught me that it’s ok to acknowledge how I feel, but to respond and act on what I know.
I’ve learned that as often as I feel weighed down and down trodden by my issues, there is most likely someone else out there feeling and going through a similar experience.

I’m not a big fan of sharing my feelings, but I’ve learned there is freedom in sharing. There is healing in finding out that your feelings are felt by someone else. And…that there can be joy found in every situation.

So, these posts are how I get through, from Sunday to Sunday; I hope they help you find your Chronic Joy. (1)

  15. Many thanks for this article. I will also like to talk about the fact that it can always be hard while you are in school and merely starting out to initiate a long credit history. There are many pupils who are simply trying to live and have a good or good credit history can be a difficult matter to have.
